We are a St. Louis-based group of highly skilled and experienced practitioners, who understand the importance of Occupational Therapy and other service providers in a community setting. We believe it's our responsibility to make these services more available to social service agencies.
Dr. Quinn Tyminski currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Program of Occupational Therapy and Washington University School of Medicine. She earned her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Washington University School of Medicine Program in Occupational Therapy in 2012 and her clinical doctorate in occupational therapy in 2017 from Saint Louis University. She served for five years as an occupational therapist for a transitional housing program for men experiencing serious mental illness and homelessness and spent a year as the clinical director coordinating occupational therapy services.
As part of her doctoral work, Quinn introduced occupational therapy services to a local homeless shelter and in 2018; she opened an outpatient student-run clinic to provide services to individuals experiencing homelessness. Quinn's research focuses on improving occupational participation and quality of life for populations experiencing marginalization through providing occupation-based services targeted at improving life skills and community re-integration. She is also currently in the process of obtaining her PhD in Education at Washington University in St. Louis.
Kevin Neumann brings 12 years of IT experience to QTS, including Software Development, DevOps, Software Architecture, and management. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2012, before beginning his career at a startup credit card processing company. From there, he transitioned to a pension manager, and then eventually to his current role as Software Architect at Hunter Engineering.
Dr. Kailin Lust currently serves as the Occupational Therapy Coordinator at a homeless service agency in St. Louis. She earned her clinical doctorate in occupational therapy from Washington University School of Medicine Program in Occupational Therapy in 2023.
While in school she worked in a student run clinic providing OT services to individuals experiencing homelessness and conducted research alongside Dr. Quinn Tyminski with this population. In her current role as an occupational therapy coordinator, she provides individual and group-based services and has been working to expand access to OT services for individuals with mental health concerns in the non-profit sector. Kailin comes from a background working in domestic violence shelters in her hometown where she grew her passion for working in the mental health field.
In her free time, you can find Kailin baking, playing with her cats, reading a good book, and spending time with her husband.
